Day 1 : Muscat City Tour – Bimmah sinkhole – Tiwi
After picking you up from your Hotel at 0800 hrs, we will first make a city tour. This will include the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, The Royal Opera House, The Bait Al Zubair Museum, The National Museum, The Sultan's Palace Al Alam, and Forts Al Jalali and Al Mirani. The Tour will not include the Souq in Muttrah. After lunch, we will drive to Tiwi. On the way, we will stop to visit the Bimmah sinkhole. We will stay overnight in a Hotel in Tiwi.
Day 2: Tiwi – Wadi Shab – Wadi Arbeieen – Wadi Dayqah – Muscat
We first visit Wadi Shab. The highlight of Wadi Shab is to swim through the keyhole to see the Waterfall inside the cave. Bring some suitable footwear that you do not mind getting wet, and be careful. Some of the rocks on the way to the cave are slippery. Bring a waterproof camera if you have one! We drive back up the coast and turn off at Dibba to drive along a beautiful wadi to Wadi Arbeieen.
After perhaps another swim, we drive
along a road that can be described as a geological wonderland to visit the Wadi Dayqah dam and the reservoir.
